| Description: |
The Town of Orangeville is seeking Bids from qualified consultants to qualified bidders to supply Canine Control Services. The Town currently contracts the Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Center to provide Animal Control services and enforcement in accordance with the municipality's Animal Control By-law. However, effective 2025, the Orangeville OSPCA will no longer provide enforcement services but will continue to offer shelter and pound keeping services. As a result, the Town is seeking to contract an external provider to provide canine control services on an on-call basis, in compliance with the Animal Control By-law. The contract is expected to be established on or around January 2025 and will have an initial term of one (1) year, with two (2) optional renewal years at the Town's sole discretion, for a total contract length which will not exceed three (3) years, as noted in Part 3 (“Scope of Work”) of this RFP.
