Description: |
The Town of Orangeville is seeking consulting services for the purpose of a Facility Needs Assessment Study (FNAS) to provide the Town with non-core asset management plan and a strategy to guide investment in recreation facilities over the next ten years. The intent of the FNAS is to provide direction on the future needs of two existing community centres, Alder Recreation Centre and Tony Rose Memorial Sport Centre, as well as the expansion of the Orangeville Public Library (located at Alder Recreation Centre). Specifically, the FNAS will address three components: 1. Develop a comprehensive plan for the second floor of Alder Recreation Centre that includes an amenity fit plan, design concepts and service plans. 2. Assess the life span, as well as usage/capacity rates for all amenities within Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre, in relation to the services, either existing or proposed, at Alder Street Recreation. 3. Determine the optimal location for the Orangeville Public Library expansion, as recommended in the OPL Long-term Business and Branding Strategy (#5 in the Information Gathering and Analysis section on page 34). Anticipated results will better facilitate program/service coordination and collective efforts in provision of services for both recreation and the library. |
