The Town is looking for a qualified general Contractor to renovate an old computer lab space into a new MakerSpace, which will be branded as the ‘Exploratorium’. This will be a place that provides hands-on, creative ways for individuals to design, experiment, and invent as they engage with a variety of tools and technology. The renovation is to occur within the Alder Recreation Centre, which is located at 275 Alder Street, in Orangeville, Ontario. The project area is approximately 600 sq. ft. The project delivery method is based on CCDC 2 2020 Stipulated Lump Sum Contract, and is expected to be established on or around , June 2025, and attain the Ready-for-Takeover Date of September, 2025.
