The Consultant shall complete a Schedule “C” Municipal Class EA in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Engineers Association (MEA) Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (February 2024) or as amended.  At a minimum, “completed” indicates that:

  • The Consultant has followed the required steps of the EA planning process, including public and agency consultation, the preparation and review of the Environmental Study Report (ESR), and addressing of any outstanding issues.
  • The requirements of the Class EA document and the Environmental Assessment Act are complied with.
  • The Town will be able to move forward with detailed design, contract preparation and construction under a separate project.
